It is the mission of Windham Hospital Department of Psychiatric Services to provide the highest quality mental health services to adults residing in eastern Connecticut.

The department provides services for a wide range of psychiatric disorders and difficulties including individuals with severe and prolonged mental illness.

The Department of Psychiatric Services offers a comprehensive range of mental health care including emergency services, individual and group outpatient treatment. A highly competent staff of psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, psychologists, and other mental health professionals offer these treatment services.

Center for Mental Health

The Center for Mental Health is the outpatient component of the full continuum of care in the Department of Psychiatric Services. We provide individual and group assessments and therapy sessions, as well as medication evaluation and treatment visits.
