Boston University School of Medicine

Melisha is Board Certified in Internal Medicine. She received her Medical Degree from Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and completed her internal medicine residency training at Bay State Medical Center in Massachusetts. Dr. Cumberland moved back to Connecticut and quickly found a home in Hartford HealthCare at Windham Hospital. She currently serves as the Hospitalist Floor Director and the Chief of Department of Medicine in Windham Hospital. She loves spending time with her family and is a mother to very talented children who compete at national level in athletics representing Connecticut.
