Auxiliary to Windham Hospital to Host Indoor Market

The Auxiliary to Windham Hospital is helping hospital staff and the community connect to healthier.
Every third Thursday through May, The Auxiliary will host the Auxiliary Market from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. in the hospital’s Atrium with specialty vendors offering a wide array of naturally made food and ingredients as well as locally-made, handcrafted products and crafts.
“This is a great way for us to connect our staff and community to local businesses and artisans who provide healthy and natural products,” said Rebecca Putnam, Volunteer Services Manager and Job Shadow Coordinator.
Vendors Include: Shannon Carnese of Shannon’s Jammin Jams – unique gourmet all natural homemade jams.
Michele Maclure of Thyme Traveler Herbals – Herbal products for the bath and home.
Andrew Gibson of Connecticut Gourmet – locally baked gourmet breads and products.
Chuck Simmons of Iliana Olive Oil –Extra Virgin Olive Oils
Carolyn Drescher – handmade knitted items
Delia Berlin – Children’s Books (English & Spanish)
Michelle Loucraft of Loucraft-y Soaps – handcrafted all-natural goat milk & vegan soaps
Cindy Lee of Oliver’s Dairy Bar & Grill- homemade soups, wraps and salads
